At 0552 hours on Sunday March 7th, Company 8 (Reynoldsville VFD), Engines 71, 91 (Salem VFD), 51 (Mt. Clare VFD), and 111 (Spelter VFD) were alerted for a Structure Fire on Wilsonburg Road in Reynoldsville. Engine 72 staffed with 4 personnel responded in 3 minutes with Tanker 7 staffed with 1 additional member not far behind. Engine 81 arrived on scene with a Working Fire to find a 2-story dwelling fully involved as well as an outbuilding and a vehicle involved and placed multiple hand lines in service for a defensive attack. Engine 72 arrived on scene as 2nd due engine and supplied 81 with water and assisted with fire attack. After Tanker 9 supplied their water, Engine 112 hit a nearby hydrant laying 400 feet of 4” LDH. Once a water supply was established, Engine 81 placed their deck gun in service and Engine 52 placed their ground monitor in service. The structure eventually collapsed into the foundation and after overhaul and clean up, units returned home just prior to 1000 hours. HCES was on scene for standby with no injuries reported.
