At 2340 hours on Friday May 28th, Squad 7 was alerted authority of Chief 1 for a Vehicle Accident with Injuries and Entrapment on I-79 SB near the 118 mile marker in Anmoore. Anmoore VFD/EMS and Stonewood Rescue 124 were on the initial assignment. Squad 7 staffed with 4 personnel responded in under a minute. Rescue 124, Ambulance 19, Engine 11, and Squad 7 arrived on scene to find a single-vehicle off the roadway approx. 200 feet with 3 occupants still inside the vehicle. After reaching the vehicle, it was determined there was negative entrapment but the vehicle would need stabilized to safely assist the occupants out. 124 provided scene lighting and Squad 7 utilized its portable Warn 9000i winch and rescue chains to stabilize the vehicle with all personnel assisting in the operation. 3 BLS patients were transported to UHC by AEMS. Squad 7 was released by Command 1 and returned home at 0105 hours. The vehicle was towed away the next morning.
