Early Morning Vehicle Fire
Saturday, June 18th, 2022
At 0223 hours on Saturday June 18th, Company 7 was alerted to assist Company 13 with a Vehicle Fire at the intersection of Glen Falls Road and Snake Hollow Road outside of the city limits of Clarksburg. Engine 71 staffed with 3 personnel responded in under 3 minutes and arrived first with a Working Fire to find a Dodge Ram pick up truck fully involved. Crews placed the 1.5” trash line in service for fire extinguishment. The fire was knocked within 10 minutes and after assisting with roadway clean up and Dan Riggs Towing in recovering the vehicle, 71 returned home at 0354 hours. Engine 131 also responded and assisted on scene.

At 2333 hours on Tuesday July 26th, Company 11 (Spelter VFD), Engines 41 (Lumberport VFD), 71, and 101 (Shinnston VFD) along with HCES were dispatched for a Structure Fire in the 3500 block of Shinnston Pike in Hepzibah.

At 1201 hours on Wednesday July 20th, Company 9 (Salem Fire/EMS) and Squad 7 were alerted for a Vehicle Accident with Injuries and Entrapment on Route 50 WB near Dark Hollow Road outside of Salem. Squad 7 staffed with 6 personnel responded in 2 minutes.

At 1409 hours on Sunday July 10th, Squad 7 was alerted to assist Philippi VFD and Barbour County EMS with a Vehicle Accident with Injuries and Entrapment on Brushy Fork Road near Stewart’s Run outside of Philippi.

At 1700 hours on Thursday July 7th, Companies 7, 12 (Stonewood VFD), and Anmoore EMS were alerted for a Vehicle Accident with injuries and Entrapment near the 6100 block of Buckhannon Pike outside of Quiet Dell.
