At 0919 hours on Wednesday July 27th, Engine 71 was alerted authority of Chief 5 to assist Mt. Clare, Lost Creek, West Milford, and Reynoldsville VFDs with a Structure Fire on Mt. Clare Road in the area of the post office. Engine 71 and Tanker 7 responded with 4 personnel in 2 minutes. Engine 71 arrived on scene with a Working Fire to find an RV camping trailer well involved next to a residence with a corrected location of Stutler Kendall Road. 71 placed the 1.5” trash line in service making quick work of the fire with the residence only sustaining heat damage after checking for extension. Engine 31 provided their water and manpower along with Tanker 7. Engines 151 and 81 were returned en route. HCES was on scene for standby with no injuries reported and Co. 7 apparatus returned home at 1037 hours.
At 1507 hours, Companies 7, 12 (Stonewood VFD), and Anmoore EMS were alerted for a Vehicle Accident with Injuries on the 3000 block of Buckhannon Pike near Quiet Dell. Squad 7 staffed with 3 personnel responded in 2 minutes and arrived on scene to find a single vehicle on its top, blocking 1 lane of traffic, and all occupants out of the vehicle. 2 BLS patients were transported to UHC by Ambulance 15. Squad 7 and Unit 125 handled traffic control until the vehicle was recovered and cleared the roadway of debris. Rescue 124 operated on scene for a short time and returned in service. Squad 7 returned home at 1604 hours.
